Music selection
The choice of music makes all the difference at a Milonga, so we pay particular attention to the music played at the Eton milongas.
You can expect the very best traditional tango, milonga and vals from the 'Golden Age'. Favourite artists are Di Sarli, Canaro, Rodriguez, D'Arienzo, Calo, Fresedo & Biagi.
Every track is chosen for being wonderful for dancing, and Charles is constantly adjusting the selection to suit the mood on the dance floor.
Tracks are played in tandas, with cortinas. In the evenings we display the current & forthcoming tanda information to help you choose your dances.
At Eton milongas we don't play modern music (if you like dancing to more modern mix of music then try our "Junction 8" events).
There are no interruptions for birthday dances, salsa & jive breaks, or chacarera, and we only make an announcement if there's an urgent problem.
