In August when we travel to the beautiful and inspirational mountain village of Morzine. Morzine is only an hour from Geneva, with clean mountain air, luxury accommodation, spectacular scenery, and wonderful food and wine.
These are concentrated weekends of Tango run by Thames Valley Tango. Come and learn, then dance the nights away in the French Alps.

The location
Morzine is an hour from Geneva, with cool clean mountain air, spectacular scenery, wonderful food and wine. Morzine is the perfect summer destination because there is so much to do; there really is something to suit everyone! Valley hikes, ice skating, parapenting, hot air ballooning, easy access mountain restaurants, lake-side walks, shopping, bars.
A feast of Tango
Each morning will be spent in learning and developing your Tango skills. The lessons will be designed to suit the dancers so you will get the most from your weekend. The dance space will be available every afternoon for you to practice, and develop dance ideas. We will come together after dinner to enjoy an evening of dancing. A chance to practice what you have learnt as night settles over the beautiful surroundings.
Lessons levels
We expect that you will have been learning Tango and dancing regularly for at least 6 months.
Accommodation
The venue is the Hotel Le Cret. There is good space for dancing, in an airy room with a bar. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the village centre, and the bedrooms are brand new. The Hotel facilities include gardens, sauna, Jacuzzi, and indoor & outdoor swimming pools too!
Prices include:
- 4 nights accommodation and evening dinners
- Full use of hotel facilities including swimming pools, Jacuzzi etc.
- Return transfers from Geneva airport
- Daily Tango lessons and practice
- Evening milongas every night
