In July & August our monthly milongas are outdoors on Eton Bridge.
It's a beautiful location. We Tango in a magical romantic setting overlooked by Windsor Castle as the sun sets over the river Thames.
The 2010 Eton Bridge milongas are scheduled on 3rd July & 7th August
Dancing from 7.30pm until approx. 10:30pm. £8.00
The dance surface is street paving with a camber so please take care in your choice of shoes and adapt your dancing to prevent any risk of injury. There is very limited seating on the bridge.
The Milongas are organised with support from Windsor & Eton town management. There are plenty of pubs and bars nearby, but please note that the local bylaws prohibit the consumption of alcohol on Eton Bridge.
If the weather is not suitable for dancing outdoors then the Milonga will be held at an alternative venue. If in doubt check here for details.
Music selection
The choice of music and the quality of the sound system makes all the difference at a Milonga, so we pay particular attention to this aspect of your enjoyment at the Eton Milongas.
You can expect a rich variety of the very best Tango, Milonga and Vals played in structured Tandas. We don't use a pre-selected playlist; the selection is adjusted constantly to suit what’s happening on the dance floor.
We hope that whether you’re a die-hard Tanguero or a relative newcomer, from our own community or a visitor from further afield, you will be enchanted by the music in an unforgettable and enjoyable evening.
