easterTango is a 2 day Tango event featuring lessons, workshops and dance nights over the Easter holiday.
easterTango 2009 will be on 11th & 12th April 2009at Baldwin Hall, Eton
Teachers: Jenny Frances & Ricardo Oria
Since beginning to work together in 2002, Jenny Frances and Ricardo Oria have performed and taught all over the UK, in Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, France and in Argentina. They have developed a reputation as one of the leading Tango couples in the UK. Expressive and spontaneous in performance, detailed and engaged in teaching, their dance has been described as ‘stunning work of elegant movement and feeling’ (Fringe Report). Jenny and Ricardo seek the timeless elements of Tango - always creative and in tune with the dance's improvised nature. They travel regularly to Buenos Aires to further develop their dance and teaching.
Further details of the event schedule and bookings will be released in January 2009.
The lessons will be designed for dancers with at last 6 months experience of Tango. Places are limited, and bookings will only be accepted from dance couples. We will be changing partners from time to time during the lessons. We will also keep a list of dancers seeking a partner to book for the event.
