'Autumn Tango' is 2 days of tango lessons and dancing with our special guest teachers: Melina Sedó & Detlef Engel
'Autumn Tango' 2012 will be on Sat 1st & Sun 2nd September 2012.
Melina & Detlef are one of very few German tango couples with an international reputation. They've been teaching all over Europe and the US for the last few years and have performed in numerous festivals. In addition to that they've been invited to perform in some of the most renowned milongas in Buenos Aires. Their philosophy is that tango is walking in an embrace.They dance close-embrace tango with a very personal touch. Their dance stays close to the roots of the traditional tango de salón. At the core of their lessons, which are always geared towards improvisational capability, are intensive body work and analysis of tango´s structures. But “technical” understanding is just a means to concentrate better on developing your own style in unison with the music.

Places are limited. Bookings will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis according to when payment is received. There are places for dancers who have attended previous lessons with Detlef & Melina, in addition to places for dancers with sufficient experience and ability who are new to their teaching.
Payment must be made at the time of booking, and your places will only be confirmed when your payment has been received. You can pay by cash, bank transfer, or cheque.
Book with a dance partner. If places are full then we will keep a waiting list of dance couples. We do not keep a waiting list of dancers seeking a partner to book for the event.
The lessons will only suit dancers with at least 1 year’s regular dancing in salon style & close embrace. You will be changing partners during the group lessons.
All details of Autumn Tango are subject to change at the promoter’s discretion. Booking will only be confirmed when payment is received. No refunds will be given, and bookings may not be transferred.
